I got to be more open about my future career and I knew a lot of people who shared the same interest, so it would be super helpful if I really want to build a start-up in the future.

What led you to study abroad? Why did you choose your country/program?

I knew a lot of friends who went to study abroad before and they all had super amazing experience, so I thought I should also give it a try. I was learning French and was always in love with France, so I chose France.

What was the most interesting cultural experience you had abroad?

   I only knew a little bit about French, but I found out that French people would really like you if you try really hard. Sometimes, even I need a really long time to explain everything in French, they waited for me really patiently, and they still did not want you to speak English.

What was the biggest challenge/concern of your study abroad experience? How did you respond?

Getting to know people from all around the world all with different cultures. We had some culture courses at the beginning for Berkeley students, so we came prepared.

Describe a typical day for you abroad.

 We got up super early to wait for our school shuttle. We went to school to have some amazing lecture by a lot of amazing people. In the afternoon, we separated into group to discuss our project with our mentor. In the evening, we made some progress for our project until really late.

What coursework did you take while abroad? How did courses abroad compare with Berkeley classes?

IND ENG 190A, IND ENG 190C

The classes were super amazing cause you could really finish your own project in just three weeks and you could meet a lot interesting people.

What was the most memorable/meaningful aspect of your time abroad?

    Meeting so many people from all around world. I got to know all kinds of people who all share the same interest and with always with ambitions.

What impact did studying abroad have on you personally?

 I got to be more open about my future career and I knew a lot of people who shared the same interest, so it would be super helpful if I really want to build a startup in the future.

What would you recommend to students considering studying abroad, especially to your country/program?

 I would recommend all students to join our program because it will let you find out that everything is possible in just three weeks and you can always enjoy the beautiful beach every day.
