Additional Funding
In addition to Berkeley Study Abroad’s funding opportunities and scholarship directory, there are other ways to fund your study abroad program.
Use the directories below to find more scholarships, grants, fellowships, and other funding for your study abroad.
Diversity Abroad International Scholarships & Fellowship Directory
Diversity Abroad features a funding directory of millions of dollars in study abroad scholarships, grants, and fellowships.
IIE Passport Study Abroad Funding
The IIE Passport Study Abroad Funding database of study abroad scholarships, fellowships, and grants allows students to search by country or subject to find study abroad funding information.
Scholarship Connection is Berkeley's clearinghouse for information on scholarships that are funded by sources outside the University. Students may search for scholarships on Scholarship Connection's online database.
Fundraising can be a great way to reduce the costs of studying abroad by enlisting the support of friends, family, and others. Websites such as FundMyTravel, GoEnnounce, GoFundMe, Indiegogo, and Kickstarter allow you to create your own online campaigns and crowdfund through your networks.
