What led you to study abroad? Why did you choose your country/program?

I am super interested in the urban history of Berlin. It was great going to these cites and museum to know more about the history.

What was the most interesting cultural experience you had abroad?

Knowing people (fellow exchange students) from all over the world.

What was the biggest challenge/concern of your study abroad experience? How did you respond?

Language barrier since my classes are in German. Just practice and not afraid to make mistakes

Describe a typical day for you abroad.

Go to class, study a bit at the library/cafe and hanging out in a park with friends.

What coursework did you take while abroad? How did courses abroad compare with Berkeley classes?

Labor Economics, German Grammar, Berlin Film Seminar, German History

What was the most memorable/meaningful aspect of your time abroad?

Getting to know people and listen to their stories in school and during travels

What impact did studying abroad have on you personally?

Appreciate culture diversity more and willing to explore more options for the future.
