Courses completed on the UC Education Abroad Program appear on your UC Berkeley transcript as UC coursework, units, and grades.
As part of your UCEAP application, you will make a preliminary course list and consult with your department on how UCEAP coursework may count towards major, minor, or breadth requirements.
To research course offerings, select your UCEAP program and click on Courses and Credit. Here you can find:
- Descriptions of study center and host institutions
- Program course listings
- MyEAP Course Catalog of courses previously taken by UCEAP students
- Information on internships, research, and independent study for academic credit
- Links to your Program Guide (including recommended courses, course restrictions, and planning resources)
After you are selected for UCEAP, you will enroll in program courses through the MyEAP system (not Tele-BEARS) and will have a special registration status at UC Berkeley, which allows you to maintain your Tele-BEARS appointment for future course enrollment.
