The UC Education Abroad Program provides cost information for each program option. To view cost information, select your UCEAP program and click on Cost. Here you can find:
- Estimated EAP Costs for your program, including UC fees paid to UCEAP, as well as estimated personal expenses such as airfare, meals, and books.
- Links to your Pre-Departure Checklist (including Student Budget Worksheet, payment instructions, fees and penalties, and EFT information)
You can apply your financial aid towards the cost of UCEAP, including tuition, program fees, and out-of-pocket expenses, such as airfare, meals, and books.

You are encouraged to meet with a financial aid counselor to review your financial aid package. Counselors from the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office are available for drop-in advising in 160 Stephens Hall Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 10-12 and 1-4.

Airola-Murveit Family Student Award
The Airola-Murveit Family Student Award helps UC Berkeley students participate in UCEAP, with a preference to students who are non-native speakers of their study abroad country language. Participants are automatically considered for the award—no application is necessary.
Allan Buch Scholarship Fund for Study Abroad
The Allan Buch Scholarship Fund for Study Abroad supports scholarships for UC Berkeley students participating in UCEAP to the University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom. Applicants for the English Universities program will be contacted by their BSA program advisor with instructions on how to apply for this competitive scholarship opportunity.
Berkeley Study Abroad Scholarship
Awards of $1,500 for summer to $3,000 for the academic year are made to qualified students—no application is necessary. Students who participate in multiple terms abroad are eligible for scholarships in every term.
Harry W. Lucheta Fund for Study Abroad Scholarships
The Harry W. Lucheta Fund for Study Abroad supports scholarships to help UC Berkeley students participate in UCEAP, with a preference to students who wish to study in Italy. Participants are automatically considered for the award—no application is necessary.
Jasmine Jahanshahi Scholarship
The Jasmine Jahanshahi Scholarship offers a $2,500 scholarship award for up to two students who have been accepted into the UC Education Abroad Program at the Institute D'Etudes Politiques (Sciences Po) in Paris, France, and who demonstrate academic promise, a deep commitment to fostering global connections, and financial need. Qualified participants are automatically considered for the award—no application is necessary.
