Study Abroad 101 is an interactive workshop that introduces participants to the many education abroad opportunities available at UC Berkeley. Conducted by the BPSA Peer Advising Team, this workshop provides an overview of the benefits of studying abroad, how to choose and apply for programs, financial aid, and frequently asked questions, such as:
- When can I study abroad?
- What is the application like?
- Will courses be accepted towards graduation?
- How can I finance studying abroad?
Study Abroad 101 is ideal for general audiences seeking information about study abroad, such as residence halls, student organizations, new student orientations, and campus offices. Upon request, Study Abroad 101 can be facilitated by BPSA professional staff and customized for specific student populations (e.g. transfers, science and engineering, language majors, etc.).
